Thomas Sattig is Professor of Theoretical Philosophy at the University of Tübingen. He completed his D.Phil. at Oxford University, where he was also a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow and a Junior Research Fellow. Subsequently, he held positions as Assistant Professor at Tulane University and at Washington University in St. Louis. Sattig works primarily in metaphysics. He focuses on issues concerning material objects, persons, time, modality, mereology, and indeterminacy, often following metaphysics to regions where it meets philosophy of language and philosophy of mind.
