Yankees Trade Sandridge, Angels Acquire Reliever
The New York Yankees traded left-handed reliever Jayvien Sandridge to the Los Angeles Angels for cash considerations. Sandridge was recently designated for assignment by the Yankees after a brief major league debut. The Angels, aiming to strengthen their bullpen, have now acquired two pitchers from the Yankees system this week. Meanwhile, the Yankees are actively reshaping their relief corps, adding several new faces, including Cade Winquest, Angel Chivilli, Dom Hamel, Ryan Yarbrough, Paul Blackburn, and Tim Hill, to stabilize a bullpen that has seen significant turnover. Living for the Glory of God
Jesus is coming back soon. Are you ready? What does it mean to be ready? In the book of 1 Peter, the apostle Peter gives us some answers as to what it looks like to be prepared for Jesus’ return. Writing to suffering Christians, exiled from their homes, Peter reminds these believers that the end of all things is at hand and commands them, in the midst of this, to glorify God in everything they do. Listen as Reformed University Fellowship intern Tim Sandridge preaches on 1 Peter 4:7–11, looking firstly at what Peter means when he says the end of all things is a...

Revisiting Episode 93: Christmas Specials
In a throwback to 2012, Michial Farmer moderates a conversation with David Grubbs, Nathan Gilmour, and special guest hosts Stephen Sandridge and Tim Rhodes (from the Night Cheese podcast) about the television Christmas special. Starting with adaptations of A Christmas Carol and moving through the weirdness of Rankin-Bass, the crossover crew digs into the ways that sentimentality gives way to irony in the course of television's brief Christmas history but never quite overcomes Charlie Brown. Among the television shows and other realities discussed are Mr. Magoo's Christmas, Rudoloph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Alf's Christmas special, and A Claymation...

Episode 63: My Friends Cub Sport
2016 has been a huge year for Brisbane's Cub Sport: They've released their long-awaited debut album This is Our Vice, played two huge shows with The 1975 and completed a totally sold-out national tour. It's a long way removed from when Tim Nelson originally recruited Zoe Davis, Sam Netterfield and Dan Puusaari to play music together - and although the group are still in their early twenties, their inter-connected history runs deeper than what you might expect. Recorded in Sydney at the Warren View Hotel, the band goes on a rapid fire run-through of what Zoe would later describe as "[her] life...
