I often pondered the makeup of successful founders and founding teams. At FJ Labs we spend a disproportionate amount of time screening for EIRs. We only build 1 or 2 companies per year, so we cannot afford to get it wrong. I was fascinated to talk Magnus Grimeland and Vegard Medbø of Antler because they filter through 50,000 candidates per year in 30 locations around the world including the US, Europe, Asia, and Africa. В принципе, мы уже закрылись на сегодня, но люди все еще будут приходить на наши пляжи, потому что у нас хорошая инфраструктура, спортивные площадки… Что у нас было особенного в этом году? Из-за “короны” очень много людей не выехало в обычные курортные места, - как раз очень много посетителей было у нас на общественных пляжах Вильнюса. Мы, конечно, предпринимали некоторые меры предосторожности - дезинфицировали будки, другой инвентарь. Но, в принципе, людям очень нравятся наши пляжи, и они чувствуют себя там безопасно.- А были ли какие-то сложности в работе? Или вы просто подстроились под реалии времени, - и далее все было как обычно?- Были некоторые технические моменты, но в этом году мы делали реконструкцию пляжа в Жирмунай, и приспособили его для людей на колясках - то есть, семей с детьми и людей с ограниченными возможностями. В этом году мы очень много внимания уделяли людям с ограниченными возможностями - то есть, реконструкция пляжа в Жирмунай - в принципе, центрального пляжа на реке Нерис, - показала, что этим людям очень нужна такая развитая инфраструктура. Как раз поэтому наши спасатели приспособились и к этим посетителям.- Качество пляжей и воды, по данным исследований, тоже было отличным?- Совершенно верно. Качество воды в литовских водоемах, - одно из самых лучших в Евросоюзе. Так что в Вильнюсе точно можно купаться без больших проблем. Мы всегда осведомляем людей, если качество воды изменяется - так что лето было хорошее. А самое хорошее - это то, что никто не утонул. Мы думаем, что это случается потому, что изменился контингент чуть-чуть. Если раньше на водоемах и общественных пляжах собирались разные люди, то сейчас там очень безопасно чувствуют себя посетители с семьями и молодежь. Тем более, что инфраструктура сейчас очень развитая, есть спортивные площадки и тренажеры, и столы для отдыхающих, и гриль-зоны, так что есть что делать на наших пляжах.

О том, что происходит на пляжах столицы, и, в том числе, о деятельности спасателей, мы решили расспросить представителя компании, которая за все это отвечает. Спасатели не только спасают утопающих, но и проводят очень большую превентивную и эдукационную деятельность. То есть, если видят, что люди ведут себя не ответственно, подходят к ним, успокаивают и объясняют, как надо вести себя около воды. - Насколько мы знаем, по оценкам не только наших, но и международных специалистов, и пляжи, и водоемы у нас чистые. А много ли работы по присмотру за пляжами в течение всего сезона?- Конечно, конечно! Как и дома, всегда надо прибирать и смотреть за порядком и чистотой. На таких пляжах надо собирать мусор, собирать ветки, которые появляются после больших ливней или гроз. Мы также собираем все материалы, которые оставляются посетителями. Работы довольно много, тем более, что мы работаем сейчас на десяти пляжах в городе Вильнюсе, и нам очень приятно то, что европейское агентство признало, что вода на пляжах Литвы - наивысшего качества. Лучше, чем в Латвии и Эстонии. - А за качество воды в водоемах разве тоже вы отвечаете?- Мы просто наблюдаем за качеством воды, и если случаются такие эксцессы и выходы из нормы, мы, конечно, об этом извещаем...- ...уже какие-то специальные службы, да?- Да.
