Kilrush Independent Councillor Ian Lynch is seeking an "urgent meeting" with Uisce Éireann following what he's described as a "complete failure to provide safe drinking water for prolonged periods during May and June".
With all members voting in favour of the proposal at this month's meeting of the region's elected representatives, the West Clare Municipal District will now write to the water utility requesting the meeting.
