Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)「負面童年經驗」或「童年創傷」問卷，是美國疾病管制局和聖地牙哥永久健康維護組織，共同著手研究孩童時期的身心健康與往後發展出慢性疾病的潛在關係。超過一萬七千名男女，為期兩年，後續追蹤15年的大型研究。現在就來看看你的分數吧！但無論分數多少，復原與療癒都是可能的。
2分以上：多發性硬化症、第一型糖尿病、橋本氏甲狀腺炎的風險增加70%。
紅斑性狼瘡、濕疹、大腸急躁症、氣喘的風險增加80%。
風濕性疾病的風險增加百分之百。
3分以上：纖維肌痛症風險增加2.15倍。
4分以上：癌症可能性高出2.5倍。發展出阿茲海默症病患可能性高出4.2倍。多四到12倍的酗酒、濫用藥物、憂鬱、試圖自殺的健康風險。
6分以上：壽命縮短20年。
7分以上：心臟疾病風險增加360%。
8分以上：三倍的癌症風險。
美國疾病管制局的統計， 64%的成年人曾經經歷至少一次的負面童年經驗，其中87%曾經經歷兩次或多次的負面童年經驗。
因為臨床上治療病人，上了許多疼痛治療的課程，發現疼痛與情緒密不可分，其中最難處理，且病人最不自知（或假裝不知、逃避、難解）便是童年創傷，正好看完《問題不是從你開始的》並上完作者Mark Wolynn的「繼承的家族創傷」課程，深受感動。
發現《逆轉自體免疫疾病》一書，作者也強調負面童年經驗在慢性疾病及自體免疫疾病的影響！
