Mass Shooting in Pennsylvania: Five Officers Shot, Three Dead, Two Critically Injured, Suspect Killed
A deadly shooting occurred on September 17 in North Codorus Township, York County, Pennsylvania. Police officers serving a domestic-related warrant were ambushed by a suspect who opened fire. Five officers were shot, resulting in three fatalities and two critically injured, now being treated at WellSpan York Hospital. The suspect was killed during the exchange of gunfire.
Governor Josh Shapiro called it “a devastating day for Pennsylvania” and praised the bravery of the fallen officers. The FBI and ATF are assisting in the investigation.
