画外音（Voice-Over）电影05：《男儿王》（Number 1）| 酷儿成长叙事（Queer Bildungsroman）也许是社会之必需【呦呦鹿鸣，食野之苹】
本期节目是2022年“华语电影讨论小组”组织的第36期讨论，因时长所限，内容有部分删减。
《男儿王》是新加坡2020年的一部华语音乐喜剧片。它讲述了中年男子曹启明突然被公司裁退，为了生计，不得不瞒着家人到处找工作，最后误打误撞成为夜总会的“变装皇后”，并与夜总会的变装表演者结成好友的故事。
《妖街皇后》又名《三画二郎情》，是1995年在新加坡上映的一部剧情片，也是华语电影导演杨凡最为异色大胆的作品之一。它讲述了17岁的阿莲的成长故事。阿莲本是马来西亚某富家的女仆，过着天真无邪的日子，却因家庭原因，被送到了紧挨着新加坡的Bugis街上的“星星（Sin Sin ）旅店”做工。在这条住满了美男女的街上，阿莲从各人的生存打拼中领悟到了冷暖世情与春梦伤逝，开始慢慢懂得了生活的意义。
虽然《男儿王》并没有在华语电影圈内掀起大范围的讨论，但它对于变装表演、华语音乐、queerness、男性气质等的展现都极为丰富有趣，而且较为合宜地包装在了一个合家欢的商业外壳中，兼具了观赏性、趣味性与安全化的社会性。相比之下，《妖街皇后》则有着一层灰暗的底色，它以更为“鲜血淋漓”的方式揭示了旅店房客们的伤痛、嗔痴、爱恨与悲欢。两部截然不同的影片，无论其被主流所容或所禁，都为观众提供了一种切身的酷儿成长叙事，构成了对当下社会的某种观照与批判。

三月的一个傍晚，我们在一个华人电影放映会上观赏了一部关于在英华人偷渡客的纪录片，进而结实了该片导演——张导。
张导已经在电影行业深耕近10年，科班出生，在国内跟过电影剧组，参与过大制作。可能是长期受艺术熏陶，他拥有敏锐的洞察和共情能力，一直带着一颗敏感的心感受自己的经历和周围发生的一切，我们这期录制了很久，天南地北聊得很深入。本期是节选了其中一部分，从张导去年在伦敦拍摄的纪录片《passer by》讲起，了解到华人偷渡客的经历和生活情况。
我们之所以请张导聊这个课题，是因为谈到海外华人，互联网和社交媒体上多数展现的是留学生和在海外定居的华人生活，偷渡客这个群体是被边缘化的，但他们的确还是海外华人的一个组成部分，甚至人数比我们想象的要多。他们生活的都很惨淡吗？其实也不完全是，听完本期节目，相信大家会对这个群体有新的认识。

9178.52公里，全程30小时，中转滞留17小时；十几次核算检测，21天境内隔离。
这是一个留学生在疫情稍有好转时，从伦敦回上海所经历的一切繁琐。
英国大学毕业多数在10月，从年中开始不少中国留学生便陆续回国。这一路道阻且长，不仅机票一票难求，航班时不时被熔断，各种测试和隔离政策加持下让留学生回国的过程更加艰辛。
在这艰辛的背后，我们看到了不同国家和地区对于境外归国的防疫政策也各不相同。本期我们聊一聊入境新加坡，大陆和香港的3种体验，从中感受当地政府的不同考量：

这次录制源于二位主播上学期上的一门叫Embodiment and Experience 课给到她们的启发。 “Embodiment”被翻译为“切身化”(或具身化)就是具体到身体存在问题。身体研究最大的创新之处及其理论的生命力就在于，它完全颠覆了西方历史上传承已久的唯物主义（materialism）与逻各斯中心主义的身体二元论，把身体从精神和灵魂的压制下解放出来，传统客体性的、工具性的身体被还原为主动的、生活的身体。
学者谈论embodiment时的目标一般是批判性地探索和评估生物、社会、情感、政治、文化、经济、象征、虚拟、技术之间的关系，并承认这些关系总是相互交织的。
总结来说，身体从来不是单一的或独特的个体--身体是作为物质与意义的集合体。

人们也自觉或不自觉地把自己变成被审视者，时时刻刻以这种他者性的、镜像化的眼光来进行自我反省，并且最终把凝视目光所提示的规训内容落实为切实的身体实践。

“随着健身运动的全球化，越来越多的女性开始意识到“以瘦为美”对身体的破坏，转而投身于西方健身文化倡导的“fit”，即一种更具肌肉线条、强调身体曲线的性感美。但无论是东方审美还是西方审美，这类健身追求的都是服从于社会对女性气质的要求而进行的塑造，只是从一种文化秩序的压制中转移到另一种束缚里。这可以说是健身审美的全球化为女性建构的一个新的“陷阱”。”

众多通过社会理论对身体的研究都纳入了有规律的身体的概念。它被认为是有用的，因为 "身体可以作为一个未完成的实体被雕刻、塑造和改造"。它还列出了社会规范如何被内化，并在自我形成和自我调节模式中发挥作用。(Blackman, 2008, p.25)。
