僕(ぼく)は、あの、Kindle(キンドル)で本(ほん)を読(よ)むんですよね。紙(かみ)の本(ほん)もたまに読(よ)みますけど、今(いま)は、ほとんど電子書籍(でんししょせき)ですね。で、そのKindle(キンドル)のバッテリーが少(すく)なくなったので、充電(じゅうでん)しようと思(おも)ったんですけど、Kindle(キンドル)って、専用(せんよう)のケーブルなんですよね。ケーブルというか、ジャックと言っていいのかな。端子(たんし)？本当(ほんとう)に、たまにしか充電(じゅうでん)しないので、そのケーブル、どこに置(お)いたかわすれちゃって、めちゃくちゃ焦(あせ)りました。探(さが)しまくっても見(み)つからなくて、ケーブルを新(あたら)しく買(か)わないといけないかなぁと思(おも)っていたら、ありました。いちいち、専用(せんよう)のケーブル作(つく)らなくていいと思(おも)うんですけどね。

koto can be used as a nominalizer. When “koto” is placed after a verb or a verb phrase, “koto” can turn that verb/verb phrase into what is essentially a long, multi-word noun.

You need to know the potential verbs to describe the ability or possibility.
Conjugation patters of potential verbs are categorized by 3 groups of verbs, which are Ru-verbs, U-verbs, and irregular verbs.
Ru-Verbs:
You need to drop the final る and add られる.
ex) たべる-たべられる/ みる-みられる
* In the spoken language, we often remove ら from られる. This is called ra-less forms and considered grammatically incorrect.
