We explored how Baptism doesn't save us, but it does sanctify us as we are given a new identity and a new family. We closed out out time being reminded that God desires to dwell with us and that his presence is always near.

Christ Community ChurchThe Fragrance of Love: John 12:1-8As we continue our study through the Gospel of John we took 3 weeks looking at the siblings Mary, Martha, and Lazarus. Jesus's interaction with them and the stories that surrounded their life provided sweet glimpses into Jesus's humanity and His love for them and us. This week we focused on the lavish gift Mary gave Jesus, the perfume she poured out on him. Jesus responds by giving her value and a new story.

Jesus revealed his power over the most extreme affects of sin, which should give us all more hope.
