circuitbenders soundsReclocked Alesis Microverb II demoLTC1799 based system reclocking mod on an Alesis Microverb II. The mod adds a knob that controls the processing speed of the DSP, allowing you to adjust reverbs from short twangs to huge walls of gritty glacial noise.
As with many processors from this era, the reclocking knob does add a certain amount of high pitched whine at lower clock speeds, but this is not so noticable when the knob is moving, and can be effectively EQ'd out if the clock speed is stationary. The whine disappears around halfway round the dial.

The RAM looper grabs whatever happens to be in the units sample RAM at the time, and loops it around until the button is pressed again.
