Camille Paycha - Fragile and Strong Political Performances
In this episode we talk to Camille Paycha, a Belgian circus artist who was supposed to join us at this year's winter edition with her new creation "Ice skates and other cruelties" where she works with glass in an ice rink. Camille talks about the strength and fragility of the body itself and how she steps in the tradition of feminist performances using glass to claim their body and vulnerability back, by putting herself in uncomfortable situations of "violence". She also shares her process of creating a political, feminist performance without recreating stigma and prejudice.
