daccaSometimes Infinity Is Enough (Open Collaboration)Two of my favourite things to think about are...nothing and infinity. These are most certainly mathematical concepts, but to me they are also questions of philosophical significance.
Zero to me represents nihilism, a belief in nothing. This is a devastatingly powerful concept, I feel.
Infinity, on the other hand, is a good numerical symbol for human creativity...especially when it comes to music, or art in general.
So, bearing that in mind, I offer this open collaboration freely for you to create music, and expand the meaning of the word infinity.

The entire composition is made from Apple loops. The mix of musical styles (according to Apple) is Irish, English, Bosnian, "Eastern" (whatever that means) and Chinese.
In my mind I was telling the story of the Mongol invasion into Eastern Europe, which mightily disturbed the medieval royal courts all the way to the Western edge of Western Europe.
The mix felt right for the subject matter, to me. I hope you enjoy it - please feel...2017-09-1703 mindaccaInfinityI had a bad car accident a week ago and, even though nobody was seriously hurt physically...it really knocked me about emotionally.
Divide nothing into one and you get...infinity.
I wanted to escape into nothing, but realised it's easier to escape into infinity...with music.
Infinity is a more comforting thought than nothing.

daccaAir Of DecayI was playing around with some very "breathy" synths in Logic Pro X, which lent themselves to a very dark ambient piece. I added some mournful strings, adjusted the mix and that was it.
I imagine it would make useful background music for a roleplaying game, if it fits the scene and mood of the game.
