Two Synodeia plugins (by Klanglabs) listen to the AUDIO of each synth and detect the played notes. They send it back by midi to the input of the sequencer from the other line.
No note is ever played by a human. All music and structure emerges from the double crossed feedback loop. Feedback means chaos, but both signal lines affect each other, which will cause resonance, a together movement, a dialog where both sides listen and talk. All sequencer patterns are random, not a note was played. My human job was to pick another patch from time to time, or to randomize a sequencer when they got stuck. All sounds are as they came out, no further remixing, just a one track recording.
