Trotz ihrer hohen Relevanz, speziell im medizinischen Bereich, stellt die Analyse von MP aufgrund ihrer physikalisch-chemischen Eigenschaften ein häufiges Problem in der Proteinbiochemie dar. Diese Arbeit soll eine Einsicht in die Problematik geben sowie Lösungsansätze aufzeigen, um den Umgang mit diesen Polypeptiden zu vereinfachen. Ein geeignetes Modellsystem zum Studium der Eigenschaften membranintegraler Proteine und Peptide sowie zur Verbesserung der bestehenden Analysemethoden stellte die Thylakoidmembran der Plastide dar.
