@nehalll | A sense of belonging
Click here to reply to @nehalll "Now, watching Sweetie slowly rediscover that she was worth being loved, it was very uplifting. Her writing is. The author's writing is very simple, but it is very evocative, like nothing pretentious but relatable emotions. And I really loved how she portrayed friendship in it. How the protagonist, friends, they stand by her and they allow her to be herself. And the support, their support was truly heartwarming. And the romance is also very tender."

@notessonthego | Worst book cover ever...
Click here to reply to @notessonthego "I didn't really understand this question. I mean, which book cover is so good that so bad that it's almost good? I mean, what is our definition of good and bad, first of all? And secondly, I mean, I don't really understand what constitutes good and bad for a book cover. So I'm not sure what to answer, but. So it's a very kind of warped question. I'm not really sure, but yeah, I'm not sure. Thanks."

So why not crime and thriller novels? So I absolutely love the fact that the author incorporated satire within because like, I, I miss satire so much. Like when we talk about classical novels, all of them had satire. The novels had a purpose, right?"

Click here to reply to @Sampurnaaaa "The story kind of moves along slow, but not in a boring way because it reflects real life. You'll feel the years are passing by. You'll feel the weight of every small victory and every invisible heartbreak. Then there's a rejection letter. There's a fight with the family. There's a silence after a dream that slips out. And the best part is the book doesn't glorify the struggle."

But I think that being in school, like summer, I always associate with reading. So I would say summer. I don't know. I feel like there's just so many good, like, summer, beachy, fun reads during that season."

It's a powerful and multi generational saga set in Kerala, especially in the 1900s, and one fascinating thing about the book is that at least one person in a generation dies of drowning. This book also covers various aspects and themes like caste system, inequality, colonial influence, and even the transformative power of medicine. I am so far 200, hundred pages into the book and I'm really loving it."

I have searched for pleasure."

All these are about Christ."

Click here to reply to @thoughtfulsoul "That stillness is not a sign of laziness or inaction. It's a space where awareness grows and clarity emerges. Another striking part is his use of metaphors from nature, the idea that mindfulness is like sitting beside a stream and watching your thoughts flow by rather than jumping into swim against them. That visual has helped me personally to be less reactive and more observant in my day to day life. What sets this book apart from me is that it does not tell you what to feel."

Even if I really want to talk to them, I always get stuck on what to say next. It's like constant loop where I ask random questions, but when they respond, I don't know how to do. Keep the conversation going, I mean. So I end up staying silent and it feels like the conversation just fizzles out."
