@lhnath | Do you believe in some sort of version of a universal consciousness or memory? Many religions spoke of it; what's your take?
Click here to reply to @lhnath "Obviously you could believe in people too and, and believe that the chair you sit in isn't going to break, otherwise you wouldn't sit in it. So there's those definitions of believe too. So I guess it depends what you mean by believe. But I certainly don't put ultimate confidence in a memory or ultimate confidence in a consciousness either because the consciousness is just consciousness means awareness. So I don't put ultimate confidence in something that's just aware."

@arunanandarao | Do you believe in some sort of version of a universal consciousness or memory? Many religions spoke of it; what's your take?
Click here to reply to @arunanandarao "Many religions spoke of it. What's your take? The Universal consciousness, the idea that all beings are connected through a shared awareness or memory, has fascinated thinkers, philosophers and spiritual traditions for centuries. Many religions and philosophies, from Hinduism's concept of Dramman to the Buddhist idea of interdependent origination and the notion of a collective unconscious proposed by Carl Jung, reflect this belief in an underlying unity linking all life."

@EnviousMods | How do you approach problem-solving and critical thinking in your work?
Click here to reply to @EnviousMods "But I think that's quite literally the most advantageous aspect. So just like a diversified knowledge in whatever you're doing for work, you don't need to know everything about everything, but just a diversified working knowledge. So you kind of know what people are going through or you kind of know what the concepts are, because then it allows you to connect with them in a clear, concise manner that's really efficient. And I found that to be the most advantageous."

But anyway, so like, I heard you mention that in another prompt that you're kind of trying to work with AI Regarding emotional intelligence and capacity for that. I think that would be the greatest gift to. To human humanity. We all need a friend. We've all been disconnected."

@arunanandarao | Would you want the ability to customize Chat GPT or your Ai and if so, what wpuld your Ai's personality be set to? #Ai #chatgpt #technology #ttcoe
Click here to reply to @arunanandarao "By blending logic, emotion and awareness, consciousness AI can become a soulful companion in the journey of knowledge, creativity and self discovery, and even self inquiry. So the future of AI has to be deeply human. Customizing AI personalities is not just about adding flair to a chatbot. It represents a deeper shift in how we relate to machines, knowledge and ultimately ourselves. In an age where information is abundant but attention, presence and meaning are rare, a well personalized AI can be more than a utility."

But this idea of giving me that power, I reject it. I don't want it. I'm not going to repeat the patterns that we have done and I'm not going to have those patterns in my hands to then impact negatively myself and then how I perceive not just AI, but fellow humans. Because there will be a ripple effect."

Click here to reply to @Matthew.b.b "But I also think people should be warned of the environmental issues that it's causing. It's really scary, and I think people need to really use their brain when they're thinking about things more than just using chat, because like I said, it is a useful tool, but also very bad for the environment."

@LadyFi | What do you think the most important thing to teach AI is?
Click here to reply to @LadyFi "If you want AI to work currently and you want it to work productively, you have to program it productively, you have to keep it current, you have to let it know the jargon, you have to let it know the technology, you have to let it know so many things. But never forget to insert compassion and empathy and patience, because in those scenarios are the answers to many questions. And if we're going to use it, let's get it right."

I don't know, I guess I'm going to use the word detrimental way. You know, I'm a big proponent of anything that can be used for a certain level of good can also be used for an equal and opposite opportunity for bad."

@arunanandarao | What do you think the most important thing to teach AI is?
Click here to reply to @arunanandarao "Not just capable, but conscious. Because in the end, AI is not just a mirror of human intelligence. It is a reflection of our collective values. So let us teach it the best of what we are becoming and being too. Not the worst of what we wear. What shall we teach the machine? What shall we teach the child of cold, this thinking flame, this silent ode, not just to sort or scan or store, but what it means to feel and soar?"

Click here to reply to @kwa "But the way the models work in general, like, what is this quote, unquote thinking or decision making process of an AI? How does that look on the back end? No matter what, no matter how it's built or what are the different ways you can expect that to happen? How is a model or software program or language, however we want to call it, made? Like what sits behind it in terms of architecture? Like that kind of stuff."

Click here to reply to @EnviousMods "The entirety of everyone's conversations they have with OpenAI. That's scary because that can explicitly be used for ways to disenfranchise, to strip away autonomy rights from people. I mean there are so many ways in which this can be abused by people like this that it's actually made it. So I don't, I'm unwilling to use open AI models now."

Click here to reply to @arunanandarao "Well, thanks for your prompt. It evoked my conscience and I even want to do a separate podcast on this important topic. What do I want AI to do? I see AI as artificial intelligence, but I want it to awaken my artistic intelligence inside. I don't want AI to replace my thinking. I want it to challenge, stretch and reflect it, just like a lamp is needed."

@arish | Darius Amodei or Mark Cuban - who do you believe? Why?
Click here to reply to @arish "And then you have people like Mark Cuban who thinks it's kind of fear mongering or we have seen these kind of technological innovations before and it just the jobs don't. People don't lose jobs in the sense that other jobs emerge. Example he gives is like the 2 million secretaries at some point and millions of people who used to take dictations in offices and all those jobs went away with more technology came. But those were the original white collar jobs, but then they morphed into other white collar jobs."

But these models were a little bit agentic. So when someone would make a comment and they would want to respond to the comment, they would go scrape the entirety of the Internet, find out everything there was online about the person that commented so that when they commented back they had, they knew everything about that person, everything available publicly, which is considerable."

Even the world's leading experts in those industries that are extremely versed in AI we've seen are significantly off because the reason why is this exponential growth. It's such a hard thing for the human to wrap its head around. Like, we can understand it cognitively, but, like, how it actually happens and what that means and what it affects. Click here to reply to @EnviousMods "And part of that is, where's AI going? So AI's growth is exponential. And if you're not familiar with exponential growth curves, it's kind of unfathomable, even if you are. So most of us are familiar with like multiplier, multiplier growth rates. So it's a 4x improvement, or it's a 5x improvement, but it's fairly linear and consistent where exponential growth is anything but it's compounding."
