@Jeremiah73 | Here’s a great culinary moment from a book
Click here to reply to @Jeremiah73 "I thought I would respond to this prompt about a great culinary moment in a fictional book. And the book that immediately came to my mind was written by Ian Fleming. And the book was Dr. No and featured his main character of all of the Bond books, James Bond. And James Bond was a ladies man. He was a great spy, a secret agent."

Click here to reply to @Jeremiah73 "It means the making holy the ordinary things of life, affection and friendship, eating and drinking and merry making. And for me, Christmas has always been about being able to blend that story with the pagan joy of the yuletide season. Click here to reply to @Jeremiah73 "Without the idea of winter, half the charm of the Christmas carol spirit would be gone and most of its mystical spirit. Because this story transplanted in the imagination of early Christendom from an undefined season in the hot Middle east to a very different Europe at mid winter. And because of that, the nativity story has taken on a whole new magic with the thought of the bitter cold and the birth of a baby born in a stable."

I had a can of stewed tomatoes. I put in a couple of good size fistfuls of collard greens, and so that was my vegetable base. And then I added the chicken back. For the actual curry, I made my own blend."

In fact, they found that only about 5% of our DNA has changed or modified itself from the times that we were huntergatherers to."

Click here to reply to @Jeremiah73 "You. Good morning. Swellcasters. Christianity is really what I'm talking about, but that's only because that's more or less the only game in town is a variety of Christian churches. And to give you a little background, I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness."
