@sarthakrajwar06 | Waiting rooms often evoke feelings of anxiety and anticipation. How does this book capture those emotions through its characters and narratives?
Click here to reply to @sarthakrajwar06 "Every chapter reveals a different mind and you start to understand their insecurities, personal histories and emotional burdens as they try to heal others. The quiet calmness of the author's writing is thoughtful and emotionally incisive, just like one would feel when listening to somebody confessing something they have kept buried all this time. There's a silent intensity in how he captures the loneliness, responsibility, guilt and compassion in his book. What really makes the book worth reading is that it is honest."

@KanishkaSinghal | Waiting rooms often evoke feelings of anxiety and anticipation. How does this book capture those emotions through its characters and narratives?
Click here to reply to @KanishkaSinghal "Waiting rooms hold a strange kind of silence, the kind that hums with anxiety, dread, and hope all at once. This book captures those emotions by letting every character walk into that silence, carrying their own fears, secrets and stories. Instead of describing anxiety outright, the author makes you feel it through the small pauses, the trembling confessions, the unsaid words between breaths. Each narrative cuts the heart open and locate a special kind of vulnerability in the corner of every soul."

@Blanblo | Waiting rooms often evoke feelings of anxiety and anticipation. How does this book capture those emotions through its characters and narratives?
Click here to reply to @Blanblo "Seriously, the prose is so raw. It genuinely feels like I have been transcribing a stream of consciousness. The main characters, especially Ankit and Pooja, don't just tell you what they are thinking. You overhear them processing their whole lives out loud. I mean, the detail they dive into is just phenomenal. Take Dr. Jindal for instance. I love that guy."

I didn't really know that in Naga belief systems, the animals and signs from nature could carry spiritual weight. But through that story, I got the glimpse of how death and remembrance aren't just personal, they're also tied to nature, to folklore, to the unseen. It's not scary. It's kind of peaceful."

Click here to reply to @vanshikatiwari "These narratives are presented with a focus on the victim's voices and agency, avoiding sensationalism and are seen as both an fragment of social apathy and a tribute to courage of women who refuse to be silenced. A Candle in the Wind metaphorically suggested the fragility and resilience of these lives, akin to a candle trickling in adverse conditions yet staggering to stay alight. This imaginary is reinforced by review that highlights its role in illuminating dark sociological issues while celebrating human endurance. This book is a psychological thriller."

So there's this retailer she goes to and she has to be prepared for the barbs. All the retailers are not that friendly. So there's this retailer and she just goes there and she says, hi, hello. How's everything going? And the guy says, Madam, you're the first one to come here in ages."

I learned so much about the writing process through this book, which was a precious experience for me. It also served as a great diversion from all the daily stresses of my life. At the end of the day, I always look forward to diving into the world of Avni Parnika Shivawik, mapping out their struggles and seeing how they evolved throughout the story."
