@cathoughts | Who raised eyebrows: Kevin Durant, Paul Millsap, Jeff Green, and Morris Almond
Click here to reply to @cathoughts "But nonetheless it was a solid showing from Kevin Durant. Other notable players who played in the game were Paul Millsap, who played about a decade with the Utah Jazz. Jeff Green, he was a forward with the Seattle Sonics. The fact that Jeff Green has been able to play basketball as long as he has been playing in the league is quite remarkable considering the fact that he had a career threatening injury in the early part of his career."

@arunanandarao | Give an opinion on something others would disagree about.
Click here to reply to @arunanandarao "I met the self I would never known not in applause or bright approval but silent nights I walked alone. The world says fall and you are broken. But wounds can bloom like sacred art. What if success divides the heart? Speak of valleys where warriors shape their inner creed. The law of detachment. To fail may be the soul's true need. Joy is not born from what you gain, but in the peace that rises softly when you no longer fear the pain."

@cathoughts | Give an opinion on something others would disagree about.
Click here to reply to @cathoughts "Another reason I bring this topic up is just the other day there was an incident on a public transportation train that I used to take in the past, and these two individuals got into a dispute over the restroom. Yes, a restroom. And I rode on this train in the past and I had no idea they had a public restroom inside the train. Now, when you think about it, the train to me would be one of the last places where I would want to use the restroom."

@cathoughts | Proceed With Caution: 2025 CFB National Champions visit #thewhitehouse .
Click here to reply to @cathoughts "Now, what was interesting about the Ohio State trip to the White House is they brought their championship like all the teams who visit the White House do. Now, it was an interesting moment where the vice president, J.D. vance, was trying to get a hold of the national championship. However, there was a bobbled exchange as the national championship trophy was being handed to Vance, who, by the way, is an Ohio native. He, for whatever reason, the championship just crumbled in his hands."

Today I'll be Highlighting Terence Shannon, Jr. Terrence Shannon, Jr. Began his college basketball career at the University of Texas Tech in Lubbock. He played there for three seasons before transferring to Illinois, where he completed two seasons there. Now, his last season at Illinois was filled with a lot of chaos. I'm not going to get into too much details. He was suspended for the majority of the season."

Now, when it comes to the current version, I don't really pay much attention to it unless it's like the final two or three competitors. Then I might keyboard might watch. But for the most part, I've never had much interest in the current version."

I believe it's also on Amazon's free streaming service, freevy, so feel free to check it out there as well if it's available. Now, this docu series caught my eye for a couple of reasons, mainly because it involves football."

@cathoughts | The Opener: Summer Recap
Click here to reply to @cathoughts "The final topic I want to discuss is the current president, Joe Biden, dropping out of the race for president of the United States. So he, he basically handed the keys over to Kamala Harris. She'll be going toe to toe with former President Trump to see who will be the next president of the US. So everyone get out and vote and let's hope for the best candidate to win. That will just about do it for the opener. Until next time, peace and love for all."

@cathoughts | On This Day: September 2nd
Click here to reply to @cathoughts "So there was a debate as to how long this season should last. By the way, there are only like four teams. It was, this was a four league team. This was a 14 league, I should say. So this. They obviously didn't have that big of a budget to have a lot of players on their roster. So they were trying to push for a two month season."

Click here to reply to @Edcellent "It helps to lower the temperature in the room, in a sense, because of the fact back then, there wasn't as much of a, there wasn't much political tension as there is today. So back then, it felt like, obviously, I wasn't alive in the sixties, but things were a lot more calmer, so to speak, moving forwards. A decade later, in 1974, September 1, shoes were being sold at a factory outlet for $5 in Panama City, Florida."

@cathoughts | The Opener: June Review
Click here to reply to @cathoughts "There was also a red card. One of the US players was sent off very early in the match. For me, I thought the US wasn't gonna have much trouble with Panama, even if they're a man under no one, because of the fact that they were. I believe they were ahead of the early on, even when, even before the ejection of their, of one of their starters. Nonetheless, Panama deserves a lot of credit for battling tough and Indiana."

Click here to reply to @cathoughts "Good morning, everyone. Welcome to the opener. This is Edward Arriabor, and in this edition, I will be discussing the topics that took place this past May 1. Of the first things that stood out to me during May was the NBA playoffs. One series in particular, the Minnesota Timberwolves beating the Denver Nuggets and seven games. I didn't see that coming at all, knowing the fact that the Nuggets are, were the defending champions."

@cathoughts | Game Review: Storm-Wings (6/13/24)
Click here to reply to @cathoughts "And once Seattle took the lead headed toward the end of the half, the first half, that is, I just felt like Dallas, they couldn't regain control of the game. This matchup, it featured two Notre Dame legends and Skyler Diggin Smith and Rike and Goombawale. This was my first time actually seeing Skylar digging Smith play in person and I tell you, she is really fast. There was one play that caught my attention when one of the Dallas Wings point guards was dribbling the ball."

Click here to reply to @cathoughts "And when I look at the Phoenix Mercury, Diana Tarazzi, she can play till she's 50 the way she's, the way she's bowling right now. As expected, she had a another solid game on Sunday and I was also happy to see Brittany Grinder on the court considering her the situation she had to go through a couple of years ago. It's great to see her playing basketball at a solid level. At a high level, I should say."

Click here to reply to @cathoughts "If their skip pass has already been used, then they're not eligible for the $1,000 prize, and therefore, they'll have to keep playing. As for the last question, any contestant remaining in the game has the option of opting out of the question in exchange for five grand, or I should say, a share of $10,000, so the remaining players would split the earnings. I posted the link to the 1% club app. It's a very fun app to use."

Click here to reply to @cathoughts "I see the Mariners really making a deep playoff run this year. They may get all the way to the World Series. We'll see how that plays out elsewhere in the American League. The Yankees, they made a huge addition during the offseason by bringing in Juan Soto. So the Yankees are definitely going to be a factor when it comes to when it comes to them making the postseason. I'm also going to have an eye on a couple of teams in the National League."

@cathoughts | The Opener: February Review
Click here to reply to @cathoughts "The first half was a back and forth battle. During the second half, the Chiefs started to pull away a little bit. Buffalo did come back in the fourth quarter. Actually, for that matter. The Bills had a chance to tie the game. However, it was a missed kick wide to the right. I'm sure Bill's fans have heard that quite a few times now. As a result, the Chiefs moved on to the conference championship game where they took on the Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore."

Click here to reply to @cathoughts "Now that Aaron Rogers is out of the picture when it comes to the 2024 race for president, vice president, it just comes to show how chaotic things have gotten in this country when it comes to the political climate that we're dealing with at the moment, aside from Joe Biden and former president 45, it's going to be interesting to see who's going to be into the third nominee, whether it's going to be RFK, a junior or a wild card pops up out of nowhere."

And regardless where people stand on the matter, it's obviously a situation that has been impacting this country for decades. You, with both presidential candidates visiting the southern border at the exact same time, let's hope that this situation can be addressed once and for all. And a resolution, hopefully a resolution, will be reached sooner rather than later."

@cathoughts | Pro basketball official sidelined with an injury
Click here to reply to @cathoughts "The founder of the company got arrested, and that obviously led to Major League Baseball ending their partnership with FTX. So one thing is certain, the NBA officials will not have FTX as their sponsor. FTX was also home to the Miami Heat, the FTX arena, however, it got renamed to the Kaseya center last year. Whoever the sponsor is for the NBA referees, let's see if their deal will last longer than MLB's, the deal they had with FTX."

After splitting the first two games in Texas, the series shifted to Arizona where the Rangers just flexed their muscles. Their bats were on full display and their pitching was very efficient as they were able to close out the series in five games in Arizona to hoist the World Series trophy."

@cathoughts | Official "accidentally" trips star player in football game.
Click here to reply to @cathoughts "Lamar would end up throwing an incomplete pass. The ball did not get past the line of scrimmage. Therefore, the officials threw a flag for intentional grounding, resulting in a safety since the ball was thrown from the end zone. Now, if you watch this playback a couple of times, you're going to have a good laugh for sure. When I first saw this play, I could not believe what happened. Initially, I thought Lamar Jackson had slipped on the field."

@cathoughts | TV Network blackout results in viewers missing Championship games.
Click here to reply to @cathoughts "They won their championship by beating Tulane, as some people would consider to be a shocker. Alabama beat Georgia in the SEC championship game. This is going to create a lot of chaos when it comes to the College Football Playoff rankings. Despite Florida State winning over Louisville, it wasn't a convincing win. I'm not sure if the committee will punish them for that by taking them out of the College Football Playoff, because Florida State is playing with a third string quarterback right now."
