And in 1975 he had his own personal racquetball court built at Graceland for a cost of $250,000. Prior to that, Elvis would just play and pick up games at Memphis State University or the YMCA in Memphis. I mean, can you imagine me at the ymca and you're playing racquetball and then who comes on the court after you're finished playing but Elvis Presley?"

I've also written about this on world tennis magazine.com but what has happened in the past was the USTA started the men's and women's doubles tournaments on the first, basically the first Wednesday of the tournament, right? Like not even when the first round of the singles is over and they play first round doubles matches on that Wednesday and then Thursday and then, and then Friday they play second round matches, you know, etc."

It was not the US Open until 1968. He played in both."
