You Have Been Asked to Go
this sermon was first preached some where in 2004. I have nothing by the year listed. Based on the scripture text, I will say that it was a Pentecost sermon What is interesting is that this is the 3rd sermon that uses the same scripture text. Well in this case we include a few more verses. I wonder why I never noticed this before? The 2nd time it was preached at Faith Community MB Church June 2014

Peace Be With You
This sermon has been preached twice. the first time was Pentecost 2008 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Chicago, now Our Lady of Africa the 2nd time was June 2017 at Faith Community MB Church this sermon has not changed over the years. an interesting fact is that this is the same scripture text as the previous episode, and yet I went into an entirely different direction. See if you notice. it won’t be Pentecost when you hear this sermon, but Jesus will still speak peace over you

The Gift That Keeps On Giving
This sermon has been preached only once before on Pentecost in 2005 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Chicago, now Our Lady of Africa this is a short sermon. you will find that my early sermons were short. written to fit into a Catholic liturgy that was a little over an hour. Is there still a message? in the next episode you will hear another Pentecost sermon preached 3 years later on the same text

This sermon was preached on the Feast of Christ the King in 2005. The date tells me I preached it at Holy Angels in ChicagoMy footnote tells me it contains excerpts of “Let Me Be a Sheep!” preached at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. I can’t find that version, but it would have been preached between 1996 and 1999.

It has been enlightening to journey back through these sermons, re-discovering the time spent in the pulpit.
